---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
my life is a wonderful life.
my friday morning prayers began something like this...
"Heavenly Father, my life rocks right now, thank you."

I am continuously amazed at the tender mercies the Lord has blessed me with--all my life--but I guess I just have been too proud to realize.

President Eyring once spoke of looking for the Lord's hand in your or your families life each day, and then recording a few sentences in a journal each night before bed. He said no matter how tired he was, or how late it was, he always expressed how the evident the Lord was in his life.

The Book of Mormon is the best source we have that shares the Lord's dealing with His people, blessing them, delivering them, performing miracles in their life predicated on faith, righteousness, and obedience.

The Book of Mormon is my book of evidences of the Lord in the lives of the people 600 BC. And....so, I've created my own "book of evidences."

My Book of Evidence is a small journal I've been able to record of all the small & large tender mercies the Lord has blessed me with--truly evidence that God knows me, loves me, and is aware of my needs.

I'll share a few....
-receiving tickets for the General RS Broadcast only a few hours prior to conference
-making it possible for me to finish work, studying, and an assignment only in a few hours
-grocery shopping
-the senior sister missionary, Sister Nickell, who I felt I was inspired to speak too.
-a feeling of peace and assurance that Heavenly Father loves me
-temple baptisms and making friends

I just have to remember that when I am having a bad day--the best formula I can turn to is 2 Nephi 4, where Nephi counts his blessings. Many of them. He didn't just stop after 1 or 2 or 3, he counted many of them. As we do so, we can take the counsel from Peter, "love life and see good, and do good." (1 Peter 3:10). I know that as we do and see good, we will find happiness and the power to think positively among living in a negative world.

Thats my goal and hope. There is so much goodness out there.
We choose to find and see it.

little bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog. An excellent read.
