sucks to suck

If you listen closely you can probably hear my earth shattering cough (read: hacking lung, horrible roaring-sound coming from chest), all the way from the strange land of Provo.

sometimes it sucks to suck--like this week. wow, I didn't think sickness would ever be so humbling. But thanks to good and faithful friends and siblings, who have called me, given me rides, and just texted me as I lay on my death bed...they make it much more tolerable.

And i have to give it to my home teachers. I would say their Home Teaching work for the rest of the semester could be filled in the one day they helped me.

Its always convenient that sickness comes when in the middle of midterms and projects and everything else that is fun goes on. But I've realized that the Lord brings us low at times, so that He can bring us higher in the end.

On the bright side, a three-day weekend is around the corner...and i'm excited!
After this week I will have completed 1 full week at work.
I will be half-way through this semester.
And only 5 more weeks until General Conference.
Halleliuagh, and "thank the heavens," (in the Alabama accent of course)

P.s. I'm hoping to start putting inspiring things I find on another blog--we just need more internet sites in this world that uplift us--without all the bad ads, and stuff. Its not something I have time for right this second but hopefully by the weekend....

  1. WOW! I did hear major coughing. I thought it was Bennett and Harrison, trying to sleep, but it must've been you. We've been sick around here too, you poor thing! I am so sad to read that you are so sick!!! Take care of yourself. Hugs and kisses...
