forget Plato's closet, shop at Emily's Closet

In many ways I feel like this post should be written from Julia....but since she only takes time to make special apperences on our lovely blog, I have felt it a very important and necessary obligation to write of such events.

Let me tell you, Julia and I did a little shopping 101 last week. We spent seven hours being as non-frugal as you can be. For me it was normal, for her, not so much.

Our Destinations: D.I., Plato's Closet, and the new thrift store we are adding to our list of "must go-to's" is Crossroads Trading Co.

In total, it was about seven hours of shopping, and well worth it. Me: 4 shirts, 2 jeans, 1 sweatshirt, 1 long sleeve t-shirt, sewing decor, and a old vintage Crayola box (LOVE IT). Julia: nothing.

So, when we got home, I insisted she eat Ice Cream for lunch, it would make her feel better. But she didn't, so i did. :)

However, I decided I really did need all the clothes that I've collected in my closet, so I took Julia to a shopping trip to "Emily's closet" ( I made bank!) And then we proceeded to the bathroom where I gave her lessons on how to not only braid my hair, but her hair too! (we're still working on that!) :)

But it was great fun. Since you all know i'm pretty notorious for buying clothes i never wear once. That was pretty much the case and so for jules, she got a steal!

She got new clothes, I made $40 bucks. A win-win for both!
