the life of a college student: day 1


In case you were wondering...it's OFFICIAL. I have a BYU student ID Card. Practically as powerful as a credit card...but it is a beauty.

I admit, as I made my way into the Promised Land coming from West Jordan, the minute I saw the Y on the mountain I started screaming and hyperventalating.

And it just kept getting better.

Then, I saw the flags saying "WE ARE BYU" on the light poles, and I just about started crying.
Even better, the song, "THE EYE OF THE TIGER" came on the radio, and you might have mistaken my yelling and dancing by myself in the car for a total rave party. It was epic. Unbelievable. Once in a lifetime moment. I am home.

(we'll just leave out the minor detail that i almost got in a car accident during this whole process. what can i say, utah drivers are crazy.)

and i have some pretty cute decor for my apartment. thanks julie!

and i've had to stop myself from drooling over those fat delicious cheeks (no i wasn't talking about Meredith's...i know you thought so.)

    Yeah, me too, I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited for you too!!!! I wish I had a video of you driving, screaming, crying and almost crashing! You will most likely get into some kind of accident while living there, just don't make it a bad one, OK? The drivers are insane there!
