So heres my beef about Saturday night.
Its not Friday night, so its usually the awkward college night when single people aren't on dates.
So heres how its done. Begin your homework at noon that morning, and don't stop until 9pm that night.
So your mental health should be in check---you make popcorn on the stove. then you add a great dose of sugar and popcorn salt (perfect combo). And then, you pull up your trusty friend YouTube, and watch Anne and Gilbert clips of them growing up. Oh...I live vicariously through them. They are my favorite.
And then you just smile and love it. And in your heart you thank those good souled people who took the time to create those "Anne and Gilbert" moment videos. And then you proceed to memorize fantastic quotes like....
“You know something Diana? We are rich. We have sixteen years to our credit and we both have wonderful imaginations. We should be as happy as queens. Look at that you couldn’t enjoy its loveliness anymore if you had ropes of diamonds.” – Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables Pt 2)
"Where is sleep?" "Over the mountains of the moon, down the valley of the shadow, 'neath the waves of the deep gulf stream", replied the handsome duke in dark, languid tones. –Anne Shirley (Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel Pt 1)
"I won't cherish any hard feelings against you because of your narrow-minded opinions. Now thank goodness I have an imagination which allows me to understand how it must be to find a cow amongst prize-winning cabbages. Dolly shall never break into your field again, I give you my word of honour on that point." - Anne Shirley (Anne 2 Pt 1)
So my children, that is how you have an appropriate Saturday night.
The highway man came riding, riding, the highway man came riding.....(if you understand, well done).
